The STARFIRE Street Light Controller is built on a cellular network. It is directly deployed on GSM network, UMTS network, or LTE network to reduce development costs and achieve smooth upgrades.

NB-IoT is a new technology in the IoT field. It supports low-power devices for cellular data connections in wide-area networks. It has wide range of advantages such as wide coverage, multiple connections, low cost, low power consumption, and excellent architecture.

The STARFIRE Street Light Controller realizes wireless communication, as well as obtains operation data including current / voltage, active power, apparent power, power factor, light status (on/off/offline) and remote-control ability (on/off/dimming) etc.

In late 2018, EcInfoTech Ltd. and Harmony Asset Management Ltd. formed “Starfire Ltd.”.
